Client Requests

Our client wanted to relocate their existing workplace to a new location and had high expectations from us during this process. In their new office located in Sur Yapı Corridor it was necessary to completely renew the interior decoration and design it functionally. The client requested a modern and comfortable working environment suitable for the needs of office employees. They also wanted the aesthetic appearance of the office to reflect the company’s professional image. In line with these requests, we undertook the renovation and design work to meet all the furniture and decoration needs of the office. The overall layout of the office was designed to allow employees to work comfortably and efficiently. During the procurement and placement of the furniture, both aesthetics and functionality were prioritized.

Project Challenges

The biggest challenge of the project was creating a workspace and relaxation area for four people in a small space. The office located in Sur Yapı Corridor presented a significant challenge due to its limited space. The company's computer-intensive work and extensive use of monitors required ample space for each desk. Additionally, all desks needed to be positioned to have a clear view of the television. This was crucial for employees to continuously monitor market data. However, maintaining each employee's privacy was equally important. Ensuring adequate spacing between desks and proper layout was necessary to protect this privacy. Therefore, we worked meticulously on the positioning of the desks and the overall layout of the office.

Sur Yapı Corridor Renovation Process and Solutions

The office consisted of a large hall and a small room adjacent to it. As a first step, we removed the wall between the hall and the room to create a larger space. This allowed the office to have a more spacious and open appearance. We combined the flooring and used the column in the corner of the room for decorative purposes, thus aesthetically incorporating the existing structural elements. After determining the optimal placement for the desk and TV, we realized the layout envisioned by the client. Furniture and desk orders were placed, and renovation works such as painting, flooring, door changes, and lighting adjustments were completed. Throughout this process, we focused on both aesthetics and functionality to ensure the office achieved a modern and professional appearance. The materials used and the processes applied during the renovation ensured that the office would be long-lasting and durable.

In the Sur Yapı Corridor renovation project, we provided independent electrical outlets and separate internet lines for each desk. This was crucial for allowing each employee to comfortably use their own devices and for maximizing internet speed. This allowed us to provide adequate and balanced lighting in the work areas. We provided aesthetically pleasing, non-distracting lighting by adding a dimmer to the financial markets' logo. This logo, custom-designed for the client, offers striking visuals in red and green colors. The dimmer allows for adjusting the light intensity, reducing eye strain. Adjustable lighting provides a flexible solution that can be tailored to employees' needs. This enhances work efficiency and protects eye health. The logo lighting adds an aesthetic touch, making the office environment appear professional and appealing.

Natural Light Control

We placed the desks in front of the windows to ensure that everyone could see the television. However, considering that natural light could cause glare on the monitors, we solved this issue by using blackout curtains. Blackout curtains completely block natural light when needed, creating a focused work environment. Controlling natural light prevents discomfort caused by reflections and glares on the monitors for employees. Blackout curtains enhance employees' focus, resulting in a more efficient working environment. Additionally, the balanced use of natural light creates a refreshing atmosphere in the office environment.
